Anchor Inn and Cottages

    This establishment was formerly known as the Anchorage Inn and provides A-frame cottages, efficiencies and hotel rooms. All accommodations have refrigerators, and efficiencies are fully stocked as well. The quaint A-frames are painted yellow to preserve the look of the past and have spiral staircases. Other amenities include cable TV, in-room coffee service, picnic and barbeque areas, a heated pool, horseshoes and shuffleboard, as well as parking for your boat. All of this is nestled in a scenic wildlife area near golf and tennis areas, shopping and restaurants, as well as the public marina. If you plan on renting bikes to explore the island, they can be delivered to you are the lodge, which also sits along 30 miles of bike paths.


Forty-Fifteen Resort

    The Forty-Fifteen Resort sits immediately on the Gulf of Mexico and is made up of just nine cottages in the quiet and secluded atmosphere of the island tip. Miles of dedicated bike paths run through the area, and shopping and dining are close at hand. The cottages are comfortably furnished, with seven of the units sleeping four people, two cottages that sleep six, and one cottage that sleeps two. Kitchens have microwaves and linens are provided. Other amenities include complimentary tennis, a pool, and onsite laundry. Forty-Fifteen Resort is a non-smoking establishment and does not have handicap access.


Kona Kai Motel

    Kona Kai sits on the Sanibel River and provides motel rooms, efficiencies and suites that sleep six. Nestled in a Hawaiian setting, amenities include canoeing, bike trails, fresh water fishing, pool, BBQ grills, and continental breakfast. Some pets are allowed and Sanibel generally allows pets on the beach as long as they are leashed. Stores and restaurants are close by. The Kona Kai offers an amazing set of accommodations at a great price.


Periwinkle Park and Campground

    Accommodates tents, motor homes, etc. within a ten-minute walk of the Sanibel public beach access and with the Sanibel River behind it. Some people live in the park year-round, and it has a collection of exotic animals that include tropical birds and monkeys. Amenities include complete hookups, picnic tables, restrooms and showers, laundry, ice and LP gas. There is a pavilion for private and public events and Wi-Fi. The park is close to golf, shopping and dining.


Surfrider Beach Club

    Small one-bedroom condos located on the Gulf that have fully equipped kitchens with microwaves, 2 TVs, cable and VCR. Laundry is on site and entertainment amenities include a large heated pool and spa, a tennis court, BBQ grills, shuffleboard, bikes and helmets, and even a reading library. Guest are required to book a minimum of two nights.


Westend Paradise of Sanibel

    Located at the secluded west end of the Island, Westend Paradise is a quiet setting for you to enjoy Sanibel. They offer single rooms, studio apartments, or one- and two-bedroom suites. Some suites have a full kitchen and screened porch, so check for availability. There are BBQ grills, gazebos and even shell cleaning facilities on the grounds. Other amenities include free lounge chair use, towels and umbrellas, as well as bikes and laundry facilities.
